This year the Hermie Helps Community Group will focus on three different areas, which are outlined below.
Language Leaders
We will identify children in our school who speak a language other than English. From these pupils we will select a variety of Language Leaders who will be able to speak to new and existing pupils in their home language.
Partners
A group will focus on finding a local charity we could support during the year. Secondly we are looking for a partner school outside of the UK we could connect with to learn about their culture.
Multi-cultural Week
A larger group will organise a multi-cultural week, to celebrate the diverse range of families, traditions, songs, stories and language we have at Hermitage Park. The group will be sending information out in order to give you an opportunity to share you experiences.
